Grüne Wiese is a 16mm documentary that I edited on a Steenback table with the director Simon Ostermann. The Film which deals with the dismantling of a nuclear power-plant uses atmospheric sound and locked down photography, as we hear the Veteran and self-proclaimed pioneer of nuclear energy, Hein Kahlow, we see the old GDR Facilities. The film also depicts a younger engineer, Jörg Möller, in his 40s who is in charge of the deconstruction of the nuclear power plant. The film constantly negotiates the dated views of Kahlow and the daily task of the pragmatical, and almost dry Jörg Möller as we see him dismembering the first power-plant which was built on German soil.
