Erosion
Herrmann Zschoche was one of the first film students of Babelsberg and one of the most sought after directors of the GDR. His first films were documentaries he made in the Sächsische Schweiz mountains. However he has no recollection of them. In this short essay the 16mm Material of 1954 and the new Material in 35mm and Digital Video create a mesh in which the film seeks to walk along the lines of a lost memory.
